I am an ecologist and National Geographic Explorer working in human-dominated landscapes in India. Broadly, I work on questions related to restoration science and the nexus between forests, farms and natural resource use.
I am currently a postdoctoral research associate at University of Minnesota. I hold a Ph.D. from the Department of Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Biology at Columbia University and a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment.
